Pre-Launch Information - Getting Started
We are VERY EXCITED!
So, while we're getting things ready for the relaunch on our new design - we decided to share some of the new design with you.
We'll be sharing more Pre-Launch Information posts to get you ready for how the site will work once we launch.Today we're sharing how to register/join Autisable and where to Log In -
If you Register - here's what you'll see:
And like any registration page for most sites, an e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address welcoming you to the community.
You'll then be sent to this page, where you can Edit your Profile -
Right now you'll be able to add your own profile pic and a cover photo, along with a short write up about yourself. You'll also be able to submit posts to the main page. We are aiming to add more community functionality after the launch, which function similar to what Xanga and now Facebook does - Posting on people's walls, privacy features, and private messaging individuals.
For now, all profile pages are only viewable by people who are members of the site. This is similar to Facebook in that you have to have a facebook account in order to view an individuals profile page. We decided to go this direction for various reasons, most of which is to add a layer of protection for our users. As the site grows we will continue to evaluate this level of functionality.
Once you submit a post, we'll review it and prep it for our main page. Please understand that this process will be streamlined in due time as we're still working on the site, even making the approval process automatic, but we need to test our platform to make sure things run smoothly. When submitting a post, make sure you have a featured Image. For quick turn on approval process, please be aware this is a family friendly site, and try to submit your original content (posts and pics) that all ages can view/read.
As we near our relaunch with this new design, we will FIRST be reaching out to those individuals and non-profits who we've highlighted and have already featured content on our main page.
So, IF you've ever been highlighted on our main page - there's a good chance you already have an Account on Autisable! So, there's a good chance we'll be in touch with you soon!

I am very happy to see this just about up and running! I've watched you go through the entire server move process and the growth to more medias, you've worked so hard for this. =) It's looking fantastic!
I'm very glad you like it, that means a lot to me. There's a lot more to do even after we launch this redesign, but looking forward to getting things transitioned to this next step quickly and smoothly.
I know we've highlighted you on the site, and we have several articles that need to be attributed to you still - but a new account needs to be created. After we launch and you set your account up, message me with your username so we can make sure we attribute the articles to your new account as we come across them.
